Louisiana ag economy grows to $12.7 billion in 2014

Louisiana agriculture as a whole contributed $12.7 billion to the state’s economy in 2014, as reported in the 2014 Ag Summary from the LSU AgCenter, which was released today online.

April 2
Leonard James Miller, 28, 421 Cotton St., Eunice; Possession with intent to distribute Schedule II drugs and driving under suspension.

New Acadia project to share findings at Acadian Cultural Center

New Acadia Project researchers will share their as they share discoveries from their 2014-2015 winter field expedition at the Acadian Cultural Center at 11 April 18.
The presentation by researchers Maegan Smith and Christian Sheumaker is free and open to the public.

Obituaries

Irice Ann Darbonne Lavergne passed away on Thursday November 17, 2016 at the age of 73.
Burial will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.
