Sept.11 first-responders honored

Each year since 2002 Ardoin’s Funeral Home in Eunice has provided free barbecue plate lunches for all first responders in remembrance and to honor those who responded to the Sept. 11, 2001, terror attacks in New York City, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania.

UL Lafayette cited in ‘Best 381 Colleges’

The University of Louisiana at Lafayette is among the top 15 percent of the nation’s four-year colleges for undergraduate education, The Princeton Review reports.
UL Lafayette is featured in the 2017 edition of The Princeton Review’s flagship college guide, “The Best 381 Colleges.”

Obituaries

Irice Ann Darbonne Lavergne passed away on Thursday November 17, 2016 at the age of 73.
Burial will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.
