The office of state Rep. Phillip DeVillier on the second floor of the Eunice Municipal Complex is closed through Friday for renovations.
The office is scheduled to reopen at 9 a.m. Feb. 22.
Regular office hours are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.

On Jan. 26, LSUE Chancellor Kimberly Russell submitted a plan to LSU for how the campus would deal with a possible $ $797,151 budget cut, but Thursday’s announcement that TOPS payments have been suspended will only bump up the day the campus is left in the lurch.

Gov. John Bel Edwards said LSU Eunice will close by April 30 if legislators fail to act on his plan to fix the state’s deficit-ridden budget.
And, there will be no LSU football season, he said.
