Eunice City Marshal Terry Darbonne was elected vice president of the Louisiana City Marshals and City Constables Association and two of his staff members brought home top marksmanship awards.
A dental screening program is proposed for St. Landry Parish public schools that may start as soon as the next school year.
The dental program is through 232-HELP, an information service. The service also is accessed by dialing 211.
Louisiana’s overall labor force and those employed in the labor force continued to increase in April, according to seasonally adjusted data released Wednesday by the federal Bureau of Labor Statistics.
