As part of the St. Landry Parish Smooth Ride Home rural road improvement program, the following is the work schedule for Tuesday through Saturday, weather permitting:
Phase 1A and 2A:

St. Landry Parish Government collected about $6.9 million from a 2 percent sales tax in 2014 that funded the Smooth Ride Home program.
The first-time sales tax collection for the road program was reported in an audit accepted Wednesday by the St. Landry Parish Government.
There is no secret the state of the news business changed with the Internet, mobile phones and the like.
But the technology has not obsoleted the need for a printed record that is free from digital tampering.
The St. Landry Parish Council's Public Works and Administrative Finance committees are scheduled to meet beginning at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Old City Market, 131 W. Bellevue St., Opelousas.
The following roads will be addressed this week, as weather permits, as part of the Smooth Ride Home rural road improvement program.
Phase 1A:
Prairie Contractors is scheduled to be laying asphalt on the following roads as weather permits:
- Meche Road.
