A Crowley man is charged with four counts of attempted second-degree murder in a drive-by shooting at a home with four people inside, officials said.
Brenton Scott, 29, allegedly fired four shots at the home at 9:46 a.m. Monday, Police Chief K.P. Gibson said in a release.

Authorities have identified the driver killed in an early morning crash on Johnston Street as 21-year-old Andrew Abshire of Rayne.
On January 21, 2014, at approximately 2 a.m., Lafayette police responded to a crash in the 1700 block of Johnston Street involving a single vehicle.
