The Eunice Rotary Club grew by five during Wednesday’s meeting.
Rotary District Governor Mark LaCour attended the meeting and inducted new members Dr. John Rainey, Holly Bertrand, state Rep. Phillip DeVillier, Dr. Gregory Richard and Stan Feucht.

Wreck at U.S. 190 and La. 367

At least three people were transported to Acadian Medical Center following a four-vehicle wreck at the intersection of La. 367 and U.S. 190 on Wednesday afternoon. One of the victims, a female with a head laceration, was later transferred via helicopter to another hospital.

Louisiana Department of Revenue suspends 2015 Tax Amnesty program until Dec. 1

The Louisiana Department of Revenue announced today that Louisiana Tax Amnesty 2015 will be suspended through Nov. 30 and will resume on Dec. 1. The program will then run until December 31, 2015, which accounts for designated and legal holidays.

Obituaries

Irice Ann Darbonne Lavergne passed away on Thursday November 17, 2016 at the age of 73.
Burial will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.
