Parish charter change may be considered

The St. Landry Parish Home Rule Charter, which took effect in 2004, banned Parish Council members from day-to-day operations.
The council members are relegated to legislative duties.

Wilbert Ned, 33, 200 block of Natalie Street, Eunice. Probation warrant for first offense DWI.
Gregory Scott Bihm, 42, 500 block of South 7th Street, Eunice. Probation warrant for theft by fraud.

Donation to Bobcat Refuge

The Louisiana Bobcat Refuge recently received a $14,000 donation from the French, Reyes & Huber Investment Group and UBS Financial Services in Lafayette. Obituaries

Irice Ann Darbonne Lavergne passed away on Thursday November 17, 2016 at the age of 73.
Burial will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.
