The St. Edmund Blue Jays extended their winning streak to three games with a double header, mercy-rule sweep over Pointe Coupee Central on Tuesday.
On Saturday, the Blue Jays (8-10, 2-1) rolled to a 8-1 win at Mamou.
The Eunice Bobcats grabbed a District 4-4A 20-4, 20-1 sweep over Opelousas High on Thursday.
The Lady Cats (6-1, 4-3) face Washington Marion at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
Catholic High of Pointe Coupee pitcher Cole Landon struck out 10 Blue Jays as the Hornets rolled to a 11-0 win over St . Edmund Tuesday in the District 5-1A opener for both teams.
