The season ended too soon for the Lady Cats as Beau Chene grabbed an 11-0 win over Eunice to close District 4-4A competition.
Eunice (8-16, 6-6) finishes the season at No. 38 in the power rankings with the top 32 earning playoff spots.

NEW ROADS – Catholic High of Pointe Coupee exploded for four runs in the bottom of the seventh to grab a 12-11 win over St. Edmund.
Langdon Lemay recorded the wine even though he allowed 11 runs over five innings.
Lemay struck out two, walked three and surrendered 16 hits.
The final score was in doubt until the last out, but Sacred Heart of Ville Platte grabbed a 6-5 win on Thursday to spoil St. Edmund’s Senior Night.
“They have been leaders for me and I have really enjoyed this group,” second-year head coach Ashley Ray said.
In a battle for third place in District 4-4A, Rayne exploded for seven runs in the fourth inning to help the Lady Wolves grab a 16-3 win over the Eunice Lady Cats.
After a road trip to Live Oak today, Eunice continues district play at Crowley on Tuesday.
