BATON ROUGE – Today, Gov.-elect John Bel Edwards announced several key cabinet appointments for his administration. Gov.-elect Edwards announced the following positions:
Secretary, Department of Health and Hospitals – Dr. Rebekah E. Gee
Comeaux’s Inc., a Breaux Bridge, La. establishment, is recalling approximately 14 pounds of pork products that may be adulterated with Listeria monocytogenes, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced today.
The Louisiana Department of Revenue will begin accepting and processing 2015 state individual income tax returns on Jan. 19. That’s the same day that processing begins at the Internal Revenue Service.
