The Eunice Board of Aldermen by April may have a contract before them that would launch an 18-month process and provide a map to the city’s development. 

Labor issue pinches crawfish industry

Mudbug madness may be madder than usual this season as a cap on the number of alien seasonal workers has resulted in fewer people to peel crawfish at the height of the season, limiting the number of peeled and packaged crawfish for sale.

Cleanup day nears

A statewide cleanup day is planned Friday and Eunice organizer Donna Baltakis wants volunteers to make themselves known. 
Baltakis, director Keep Eunice Beautiful, said Friday is Leaders Against Litter Day across the state.
