A UPS truck ran into the Louisiana Academy of Beauty, 550 East Laurel Ave., at about 8 p.m. Monday. A Eunice Police report on the incident was unavailable Tuesday morning, but Police Chief Randy Fontenot said there were no injuries. The wreck closed the business for Tuesday’s operation. Jennifer Reed, owner, said classes will reopen as soon as possible. Reed said the UPS driver was trying to avoid someone in the road when the wreck occurred.
