Eunice City Marshal Terry Darbonne
City Marshal Terry Darbonne was voted a pay raise bumping his salary from $19,186 to $31,000 by the Eunice Board of Aldermen on Tuesday.
The pay raise came with praise from Jack Burson, alderman at-large.
The baseball tradition is strong at St. Edmund as the Blue Jays have earned six state championships and two runners-up trophies over the past 35 years.
The University of Louisiana at Lafayette Spring 2015 Commencement, General Assembly, will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Cajundome.

Irice Ann Darbonne Lavergne passed away on Thursday November 17, 2016 at the age of 73.
Burial will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.
