Raising paychecks and morale, applying the best aspects of online learning and seeking partnerships in the community were some of the topics discussed at the faculty forum with one of four Louisiana State University Eunice chancellor candidates.

Pharmacists ask public’s help to change Medicaid reimbursements

Three Eunice pharmacists say a two-month old contract governing how independent pharmacies are paid for filling Medicaid prescriptions is wrecking their businesses.

St. Edmund Spring Fair continues

Today is the final opportunity to enjoy the St. Edmund Catholic School’s Spring Fair.
This the 50th anniversary of the fair.
The fair is open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. today. Sunday armbands are $20. Regular armbands will be sold from noon to 4 p.m. today.

Obituaries

Irice Ann Darbonne Lavergne passed away on Thursday November 17, 2016 at the age of 73.
Burial will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.
