The new Jehovah’s Witnesses Kingdom Hall on Moosa Boulevard is expected to be complete by May 10, thanks to the help of about 400 daily volunteers.

Eunice Rotary Zydeco Triathlon attracts record number of athletes

A record number of athletes participated in the 13th annual Eunice Rotary Zydeco Triathlon Saturday.
Donald Richard, one of the organizing Rotarians, said there were 167 pre-registrations and 15 registrations the day of the race.
“Previously we were around 130 to 140,” he said.

Obituaries

Irice Ann Darbonne Lavergne passed away on Thursday November 17, 2016 at the age of 73.
Burial will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.
