Older brother shows way for young in stock showings

If the state 4H Livestock Show had personalized stalls, Blaise Devillier of Eunice High would have one as he again this year is representing his school and his parish in the upcoming show in Gonzales. And he could pass it on to younger brother Dominique.

Career/Technical Ed Center at forefront of 21st Century training

Fisheries data improving

Like most one-year-olds, the state’s year-old recreational fisheries harvest data program is progressing by leaps and bounds.
The Louisiana Wildlife and Fisheries Commission will determine the state’s 2015 recreational red snapper season at its March meeting.

Obituaries

Irice Ann Darbonne Lavergne passed away on Thursday November 17, 2016 at the age of 73.
Burial will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.
