Dr. Joshua Frank celebrated 50 years as pastor of New Zion Baptist Church. He has established a number of churches and help establish several schools during that time.
The arrest of a jailer this month brings to three the number of Eunice Police Department employees on the St. Landry Parish felony court docket.
Additionally, a fireman and a former fireman also have charges pending.
The response was the same as it is for any other incident but the circumstances weren’t when Marie Vicaro allegedly drove into the back of a vehicle Thursday, then fled the scene.
Authorities in Acadia Parish have arrested one of their own after receiving information that contraband was being brought in to the Acadia Parish Detention Center.
