Hurricane Katrina may be one of the first memories of some residents of New Orleans, and those children, now teenagers, are paying forward the love and care their city received following the devastating storm.
Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz has named Maj. Eddie Thibodeaux as public information officer and Crime Stoppers spokesman for the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Eunice sales tax collections rebounded in January and receded in February compared to the same months in 2015, but notched a 3.4 percent increase, according to a report by the St. Landry Parish School Board Sales Tax Division.
