Katrina memories turn into action

Hurricane Katrina may be one of the first memories of some residents of New Orleans, and those children, now teenagers, are paying forward the love and care their city received following the devastating storm.

Sheriff taps Thibodeaux for Crime Stoppers

Maj. Eddie Thibodeaux, of Eunice, has been named the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office public information officer and Crime Stoppers spokesman.

Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz has named Maj. Eddie Thibodeaux as public information officer and Crime Stoppers spokesman for the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office.

Interns from Quebec may be dispatched to Eunice and St. Landry Parish this fall, if plans fall in place that were first discussed at the Prairie Acadian Cultural Center.
