The Louisiana Equine Council’s 8th Annual Horse EXPO will be held in Crowley on March 21-23 at the Rice Arena.
The event provides horse owners with clinics, demonstrations and competitions.

Attorney Paul Brown has filed campaign committee organizational documents with the Secretary of State preparatory to running for Eunice city judge in November.
Former City Council member Chawana Fontenot confirms she plans to run for the at-large seat in the Nov. 4 primary.
Fontenot, 12 years a council member from Ward 3, ran third in the mayoral contest in 2010.
The Eunice Police Department landed three new police vehicles, with two more by the end of the calendar year, as the department made a request for the city to purchase new cruisers at Tuesday night City Council meeting.
Retired District Judge Ellis Daigle of Eunice has filed a statement of organization for a campaign for St. Landry Parish district attorney.
Daigle retired effective Jan. 31 and his campaign statement of organization was filed with the state Ethics Administration on Feb. 10.
