House passes on Confederate monument removal

For the second time this legislative session, an attempt by groups to make it harder for municipalities to remove monuments and school names found offensive by segments of the population failed.

Legislators ponder medical marijuana details

Obituaries

Irice Ann Darbonne Lavergne passed away on Thursday November 17, 2016 at the age of 73.
Burial will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.
