Local law enforcement learns landing zone management

Minutes can count when it comes to the response to an emergency, and a helicopter transport to a medical facility can often buy the precious time needed to save a life.

District gets upbeat audit report

An audit of the St. Landry Parish Economic Development District found “everything is in order,” accountant Steven Moosa said.
Moosa delivered the audit report by Darnall, Sikes, Gardes and Frederick at the district’s board meeting Tuesday.

Obituaries

Irice Ann Darbonne Lavergne passed away on Thursday November 17, 2016 at the age of 73.
Burial will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.
