Eunice student wins scholarship during SLEMCO meeting

Zachary Stagg of Eunice was one of 20 students winning a $2,000 college scholarship during the 78th SLEMCO Annual Meeting on Saturday, June 6, at the Cajundome in Lafayette.
The electric cooperative’s annual meeting include a grand prizes.

La. attorney general attends meeting

Louisiana Attorney General Buddy Caldwell was a guest at a meeting of The Summit Saturday morning at the Rice Palace. Caldwell explained the duties of the attorney general and outlined the success stories of that office during his tenure. Obituaries

Irice Ann Darbonne Lavergne passed away on Thursday November 17, 2016 at the age of 73.
Burial will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.
