One Acadiana took part in a town hall meeting and Congressional field hearing to discuss the importance of transportation infrastructure for the economic competitiveness of Louisiana and the Acadiana region, in particular the effect of traffic congestion on small business.

A Eunice driving instructor has been arrested and accused of giving more than lessons to female students.
On Monday, Eunice police arrested Teddy Aguillard, 45, 231 N. 2nd St., Eunice, on two counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile.

Irice Ann Darbonne Lavergne passed away on Thursday November 17, 2016 at the age of 73.
Burial will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.
