For many deer hunters, it’s hard to top harvesting a deer on your first hunt, and for Allen Parish hunter Pam Dufour, that reality likely would not have happened without the Louisiana Hunting Heritage Program.

Kennedy talks budgets, health care in Crowley

When John Kennedy, treasurer for the state of Louisiana, spoke at the Rotary Club of Crowley’s weekly meeting Tuesday, he explained he was an open to talk about anything, except for one thing.

$200,000 for schools

Eunice police arrests

The following are arrests by Eunice police.
Dec. 3
Devin Sonnier, 33, 300 block of Dulles Street, Eunice. Theft.
Seth Fuselier, 18, 1400 block of West Dudley, Eunice. Three counts of simple burglary, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and theft of a motor vehicle.

Obituaries

Irice Ann Darbonne Lavergne passed away on Thursday November 17, 2016 at the age of 73.
Burial will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.
