The St. Landry Parish Economic Development District received high marks in a recent assessment by One Acadiana.

Louisiana still ranks low in education, and One Acadiana leaders have four ideas to possibly improve education in the state.
— Maintain standards and accountability.
— Early child care and pre kindergarten.
— Develop school options for families.

Obituaries

Irice Ann Darbonne Lavergne passed away on Thursday November 17, 2016 at the age of 73.
Burial will be held at Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Eunice.
